Born and raised in Rye, Clayton began his Real Estate career in the US and British Virgin Islands founding Criterion Real Estate LLC in 1983. Primarily involved in Renovations and Restorations of Historic Properties, the company flourished in acquiring land and buildings in the downtown areas of Charlotte Amalie and leasing them out to a variety of investors, small businesses and professional practitioners. He also became well known for his guidance and expertise by stateside Investors and local Realtors for his ability to identify profitable hotel, restaurant and multi-family opportunities.
